Abstract

This study takes the stone carvings in Southern Dynasties mausoleums as a case study, focusing on interactive experience design strategies for digital heritage engagement. The study adopted qualitative research methods to identify barriers to user understanding and participation, and analyze their correlation with narrative structure, interactive logic, and interpretation methods. The findings indicate that although existing dissemination has increased visibility, there is a widespread experience gap of "high visibility but low intelligibility". The main manifestations are inadequate contextual information, lack of symbol interpretation, fragmented narrative, weak interaction mechanisms, and insufficient cross-platform linkage. Based on these findings, this study proposes an interactive experience design strategy framework, proposing collaborative optimization pathways from four dimensions: content organization, interaction mechanism, cross-media dissemination loop, and authenticity governance, providing transferable design references for the digital dissemination of stone carvings and dispersed heritage.
